Postgraduate Studies

Hello everybody! 

 Today I’m going to talk about Postgraduate Studies, this is a very difficult topic because (at least in my case) I’m in the first year of odontology’s career, so there are still many years left to decide something, and so much to know and learn. But anyway I have an idea of a postgraduate studies, this is Maxillofacial Surgery. 
Maybe you think I want that specialty for the money, but no! I want that because since I was very little I think the emergency area is very cool, a place where everything can arrive, and the medical people are capable to help each case, solve stranger cases. And I want to do that type of things, I dream arrive home after a long day but with a lot of emergency stories that I can tell, and with a lot of rescued lives. That Is not sound amazing?  

For that I want to take subjects in relation with surgery, diagnosis of clinical cases and of course, clinical emergencies. If you ask me where I want to study that specialty, I will say in Europe where exists a great development of this area, a good example is Great Britain.  

And I hope to complement well studies and work, because somehow I need to pay the specialty, for that reason maybe a part time study doesn’t sound bad.

    Nati, your choice is very good! I think that Emergencies in Dentistry are incredible! The maxillofacial surgery is so exciting!

Hello everybody! Today I'm going to talk about my university, specifically about my faculty Odontology. First, I want to say I love my career, is unique, here you need to do a lot of manual things but at the same time it is cientific, we learn a lot about biology, chemistry, physhics (all of this in relationship with odontology, of course), anatomy and a others that I still don't have because I'm in first year.  But, like everything, is not perfect. I will tell you why. First, this career is so long! we need to study SIX YEARS! and if you don't pass a class, you fall a complete year behind. So, every year, we have the pressure to pass all, at least with a 3,95. Second, we have a lot of classes, that start at 8 o'clock, and for a person who live so far away is complete horrible, I am a example, I need to wake up at 5 0'clock :( So how you can imagine, in extreme cases when we need to study of a evaluation, I prefer not to sleep than sleep only 30 minutes....

Back to the Past

Hello, everybody! Today I’m going to talk about a very difficult topic, The Time. Maybe everyone wants to know things about their future, if their present’s acts will take them to realize their dreams, but that is no my case, because I prefer leave the future as a mystery, or do you want to know you are going to die and not being able to do anything to change it? And other reason why I’m not prefer the future is the technology, I know that everything in the future are going to be related to internet, robots and technology, and I dislike that things, I prefer  the environment, talk with someone real, walk over the grass. For all of that, if I had the possibility, I want to go to the past, but very years and centuries in the past, when people only needed to sourvive, learn their surroundings, when the only lights were the stars, I think that was the perfect moment to be ourselves.
